Getting out of the post office parking lot can be a real hassle almost any time of the day. I would like to thank those drivers who stopped for a few seconds and let me drive out onto Third Street. The ones who are in such a hurry and won’t stop are probably the same drivers who make a left-hand turn out of that lot or who park alongside the fire hydrant that is right there.
In addition, for those of you who seem to have forgotten, pedestrians in the crosswalk have the right of way.

Common courtesy would also have pedestrians use the crosswalks as opposed to the middle of the street.
