The Hayden Public Library is looking for input from the community on what kind of computer classes they would like to see offered in the Hayden area. If you have any suggestions, call the library at 970-276-3777.

Colorado Northwestern Community College will offer a workshop called “Explore, Create and Paint” for beginner to advanced artists at the Hayden Public Library. The first class was Saturday, and the next two classes are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 4 and 11 at the library. Call Lindsay at 970-276-7291.

If you are a hunter, like auctions or like to eat, get some tickets for the fourth annual Safari Club International Banquet at 6 p.m. March 24 at the Craig Holiday Inn. Seating is limited and you can get tickets or more information from Karl Huntsman by calling 970-826-0089.

If you get propane from Amerigas, you can turn your receipts into the school district and they get a monetary contribution from Amerigas. The schools also are saving Campbell’s soup labels and box tops.

Sports roundup

The Hayden Tigers wrestling team will compete in Meeker on Wednesday, with matches starting at 5:30 p.m. They will then travel to Eaton on Saturday.

The high school boys and girls basketball teams will play at home against Plateau Valley on Friday with games starting at 4 p.m. They then will travel to Paonia on Saturday, with games starting at 1 p.m.

The middle school girls basketball team will play at home Saturday against the Soroco Rams.

Sports roundup

The Soroco Rams boys and girls basketball teams will travel to Walden to play against the Wildcats on Friday, with games starting at 4:30 p.m. They will then travel to West Grand on Saturday to play the Mustangs, with games starting at 1 p.m.

The middle school girls will play in Hayden on Saturday.
