Freestyle moguls skier Jeremy Cota takes 2nd at Calgary

— Steamboat Springs freestyle moguls skier Jeremy Cota grabbed second place Saturday at a World Cup event in Calgary.

Cota finished just behind Canada’s Mikael Kingsbury.

Patrick Deneen was 11th.

On the women’s side, Hannah Kearney won her 12th straight World Cup. Steamboat’s Eliza Outtrim was 10th, and Brittany Loweree was 13th.

The team next competes Feb. 2 to 4 in Deer Valley, Utah.
