Ski cross athletes show well at Copper Mountain

Steamboat Springs — Three Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club ski cross athletes competed in Copper Mountain during the weekend.
Leading the way in the Hole Shot Tour NorAm event was Lauren Hurley-Pearson.
Hurley-Pearson finished seventh Saturday and sixth Sunday.
On Sunday, Brant Crossan was 15th, and Matt Larson was 32nd.
Results for the men’s Saturday competition aren’t available.
The ski and snowboard cross programs continue this weekend with a Revolution Tour event in Michigan.
