7:16 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to help a driver who had slid off the road at mile marker 144 of U.S. Highway 40. A tow truck pulled the car out, and there was no damage or injuries.
8:18 a.m. Deputies, Colorado State Patrol troopers and Colorado State Park rangers were notified of a report of a car crash that had happened the night before at mile marker 6 of Routt County Road 14. A man had crashed his car and left it on the side of the road.
8:24 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive.
8:30 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a water spigot left on at a storage facility in Phippsburg. The water was shut off, and there was no damage.
9:11 a.m. Police helped a semitrailer driver who was having technical difficulties at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue.
9:45 a.m. Police were called to a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage Road.
10:16 a.m. Police were called to an animal complaint in the 100 block of Anglers Drive.
10:27 a.m. Police were called to help a driver at River Road and U.S. 40.
10:48 a.m. Police were called to a two-car, noninjury crash at Lincoln Avenue and Shield Drive.
11:21 a.m. Police were called to a two-car, noninjury crash in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
12:41 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of fraud in the 40000 block of Anchor Way.
12:56 p.m. Deputies were called to animal complaint at River Road and Dakota Ridge, where deputies issued a ticket for a loose dog.
2 p.m. A 31-year-old Steamboat Springs man turned himself in on a warrant for violating a protection order, harassment, third-degree assault and stalking.
2:44 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about trash cans left in the road at C.R. 44 and Whitetail Lane.
3:03 p.m. Steamboat police assisted the Hayden Police Department in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.
4:02 p.m. Police were called to a report of fraud in the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Drive.
4:16 p.m. Police were called to a suspicious incident behind an elementary school. Officers found a woman acting erratically, and they sent her home.
4:37 p.m. A 23-year-old Steamboat Springs man turned himself in at the Routt County Jail on a felony theft warrant.
4:43 p.m. Police were called to a report of a juvenile who had run away from home in the 3000 block of Elk River Road. Officers found the juvenile and returned him or her home.
5:05 p.m. Deputies and troopers were called to a two-car crash at mile marker 2 of C.R. 38. Deputies arrested the passenger, a 22-year-old Steamboat Springs woman, on suspicion of fugitive of justice. There were no injuries in the crash, and the driver was issued a citation for driving under restraint.
6:37 p.m. Police were called to a report of a pair of skis stolen in the 2200 block of Après Ski Way.
6:50 p.m. Police and firefighters were called to a three-car, noninjury crash at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.
6:59 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint of trespassing in the 50000 block of Moonhill Drive in Clark. As a result of the dispute, both parties were issued trespass notices to stay off each other’s property.
8:04 p.m. Police arrested a 42-year-old Fremantle, Australia, man on suspicion of harassment.
10:12 p.m. Police sent extra foot patrol to Ski Time Square.
10:13 p.m. Police helped a driver at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers moved a broken-down car out of the road.
11:02 p.m. Police and Advocates Building Peaceful Communities volunteers were called to the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue for a verbal argument near a bar. Everything was fine.
11:31 p.m. Police sent extra patrol to downtown Steamboat Springs.
