Steamboat Springs ■ 5:30 p.m. Friday: Tigers (4-5) at De Beque (3-6)
■ 4 p.m. Saturday: Tigers vs. Vail Christian (6-2)
With two key games this weekend, beginning with a trip Friday to De Beque, the Tigers get the chance to prove last weekend’s win against North Park was the start of something special. The De Beque Dragons have struggled in recent years but already have as many wins this season as they did in the past two years combined. If Hayden is to be a better team in this year’s league, Friday’s game is a must-win. Saturday’s game against Vail Christian will be a tougher test.
