Soroco boys basketball
Steamboat Springs — ■ 6 p.m. Friday: Soroco (3-0) at Vail Mountain (1-1)
The Rams are off to a fast start under coach Sam McLeod. Vail Mountain will provide what is the biggest test of the young year.
Soroco girls basketball
■ 6:30 p.m. Friday: Soroco (2-1) at Denver Eagles Christian Homeschool (10-1)
Soroco still is trying to come up with a set rotation but should get a better understanding of what type of team it has with several non-league games to start the year.
Soroco wrestling
■ Saturday: Soroco at Eagle Valley
Despite being relatively small in size, Soroco should have a good chance to place several wrestlers Saturday. While not at the caliber of the Utah tournament, Soroco is likely to see several teams from its region.
