Steamboat Springs — The Oak Creek Town Board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday with the majority of its time devoted to a work session on personnel and policy guidelines for town employees. Town Administrator Mary Alice Page-Allen is working with the Town Board to update and revise policies for the town’s departments.
“I’m looking for some guidance,” Page-Allen said about Thursday night’s meeting. “I need to understand what they are looking for.”
The town of Oak Creek is advertising a full-time public works position in the Steamboat Today. That would bring the public works department to three people, Page-Allen said. Public Works employee Tom Holliday has been filling in as interim public works director since the departure of former Director Robert Redding.
“We need some shovels,” Page-Allen said about the upcoming construction season.
Also on the agenda is a waiver of an electric deposit for a property on West Main Street.
