Steamboat school changes name as part of new effort
Thursday, February 16, 2012
Steamboat’s Christian Heritage School is now Heritage Christian School.
School administrator Dave Entwistle said the name change is part of a new branding and marketing effort for the private school just west of Steamboat Springs on U.S. Highway 40.
“We have not had a facelift in terms of our logo and what we’re about in a long time,” Entwistle said. “A lot of times the community doesn’t know what all we have going on here, and as a school, we want to grow this place and get more kids here.”
The name change also is accompanied by a new school logo and website at www.steamboatchs.org.
