Soroco girls basketball to face Battle Mountain

Steamboat Springs — ■ 2:30 p.m. Saturday: Rams (11-7, 7-5) vs. Battle Mountain (2-19)
The Rams have locked up the No. 5 seed in the 2A Western Slope League. This game will not have a direct impact on the final standings or where Soroco will open up the district tournament. Instead, this game will serve as a primer to next week’s district tourney action that likely will see Soroco on the road, possibly even Tuesday at Hayden.
