Soroco boys basketball has 2-game weekend

Steamboat Springs — ■ 6:30 p.m. Friday: Rams (5-10, 3-7) at De Beque (5-12, 2-6)
■ 4 p.m. Saturday: Rams vs. Vail Mountain (2-13, 1-8)
Playing two teams below it in the standings, the Soroco High School basketball team has a chance to go on a little roll before the Class 2A Western Slope District tournament begins. The Rams will have to get sophomore forward Ryan Jeep going to open up their guard play. Soroco, however, should come away from the weekend with a pair of wins.
