Sign up for Steamboat ‘Hunger Games’ challenges

Steamboat Springs — Represent your district in Steamboat’s “Hunger Games” on March 16 and help fight world hunger. Teams will compete for a chance to win movie tickets to the “Hunger Games” movie. Children and adults of all ages are welcome to participate by forming teams of six. Sign-up sheets are available at the Steamboat middle and high school libraries, Bud Werner Memorial Library and the Colorado Mountain College’s Alpine Campus library.
The deadlines to sign up is Feb. 29. Teams will be notified March 5 and given their challenges to help fight world hunger. Completed challenges will be presented and the winning team announced at the “Hunger Games” event March 16.
