12:39 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers cited a person for public urination in an alleyway near the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated person at Après Ski Way and Mount Werner Circle. No other information was available.

4:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car crash at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police said a dump truck that was spreading snow for the Winter Carnival hit a light pole.

5:06 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car crash at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police said another dump truck that was spreading snow for the Winter Carnival hit a light pole.

9:23 a.m. Officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a car crash at Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road. Police said a vehicle hit a pedestrian, resulting in minor injuries.

9:28 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a vehicle in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

1:04 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a car crash in the 21000 block of Routt County Road 55. A 5-year-old girl was rushed to a Denver hospital after she suffered serious injuries in the two-car crash. She was in good condition Sunday. Her father who was driving during the crash was issued a summons for careless driving causing bodily injury.

1:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 2400 block of Pine Grove Road. No other information was available.

1:49 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a vehicle in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 300 block of Anglers Drive. Officers pulled over and arrested a 41-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a cracked windshield and driving with an open container.

3:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a stolen vehicle on U.S. Highway 40. No other information was available.

4:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car crash at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. No other information was available.

5:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of property found in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

6:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a panic alarm in the 1100 block of 13th Street.

9:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver on Indian Trails. Officers pulled over and arrested a 37-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to signal.

10:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 700 block of Oak Street.

11:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of property lost in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated person at Seventh and Oak streets. The person was taken to detox.

4:55 a.m. and 5:06 a.m. - Obviously, light poles are a problem. Why is nothing being done about them? Think of the children!

"Sure is quiet." "Yeah... maybe TOO quiet." As usual, I smell a conspiracy.

When I see "No Arrests" in the Jail Report, I become immediately suspicious. Did Crime take a vacation? Has this town cleaned up its act? I fear not, dear friends.

The Pilot is complicit. Where are the juicy articles; if not the naked perps, at least the juicy editorials? Are we left to squabble about a witty blonde who leans to the right, and who cares where the rich and famous spend their money? We want DIRTY LAUNDRY!!
