2012 Sailors Alpine skiing schedule
- Jan. 6: Girls 1st, boys 2nd at Winter Park
- Jan. 13: Home team dominates at Howelsen
- Jan. 20: Girls 1st, boys 3rd at Eldora
- Jan. 27: Steamboat Alpine ski teams finish 2nd at Loveland

- Feb. 10: Steamboat Alpine skiers finish 2nd in Aspen

Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Springs High School Alpine boys and girls ski teams each placed second on Friday at a slalom race in Aspen.
Despite each team finishing just behind Aspen, Steamboat came away with three podium finishes, led by Conner Bernard finishing first in the men’s slalom.
Suzanne Lyon was second in the women’s slalom, and Megan Rosa was third.
Also finishing well for the Steamboat girls were Mallory Hoots in eighth, Martha Anderson in ninth and Rachel Grubbs in 15th.
Andreas Foulk was seventh for the Sailors boys, and Danny Kramer was ninth.
It was the team’s last meet before the state championships in Beaver Creek.
The team will compete in giant slalom Thursday and in slalom Friday.
On the girl’s side, Lyon, McKenzie Millard, Megan Rosa, Sarah White, Marnie Buckley, Grubbs, Hoots and Anderson will compete at state.
The boys side will feature Bernard, Tommy Lyon, Peter White, Alec Schaffer, Willy Gunn, Keegan Millard, Kramer, Foulk, Dane Dixson, Eric Samuelson and Jake Barker.
