5:10 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies helped a driver at mile marker 61 of Colorado Highway 131.

5:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a driver who was passed out drunkenly near a stop sign in the 300 block of Sixth Street. A nearby resident said he first noticed the car at around 5:15 p.m., and when he went outside to see why the driver was stopped, he noticed the car had rolled into his yard. Officers arrested the driver, a 25-year-old Steamboat Springs man, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

8:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who had violated a restraining order by having four handguns in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police later found and arrested the 36-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of violating a protective order.

8:38 a.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint in the Silver Spur area.

10:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of vandalism in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

11:28 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of check fraud in the 40000 block of Steamboat Drive.

12:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an argument between a mother and a daughter in the 300 block of Third Street.

12:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an argument between a teenager and his or her parent. The teen went to the library to “cool off,” officers said.

12:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a shuttle bus driver hitting a pedestrian at Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road earlier in the day. The driver was making a right turn and didn’t see the woman, who was knocked to the ground. The accident wasn’t called in until the woman later went to the hospital because she was feeling dizzy. The woman later was discharged from the hospital, and officers issued the driver a ticket for failure to yield.

1:50 p.m. Officers were called to a vehicle complaint at the very end of Burgess Creek Road, where a person was parked in a cul-de-sac and partially blocking traffic at the base of the Thunderhead Express lift.

1:57 p.m. Deputies were called to Hayden for a report of a man who was harassing a woman at a business. Deputies are trying to contact the man.

2:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog at large in the 700 block of Oak Street.

2:24 p.m. Deputies, Colorado State Patrol troopers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a truck that slid off the road and down a steep embankment on Rabbit Ears Pass. There was moderate damage to the truck, but no one was injured.

2:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of illegal dumping or littering in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

4:57 p.m. Deputies and officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

5:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:33 p.m. State troopers and Oak Creek Fire Rescue were called to a one-car crash in Oak Creek Canyon. Troopers said everyone was wearing their seatbelts and there were no injuries when the SUV slid off the road and down an embankment. Traffic was blocked for about 10 minutes as the car was pulled out.

6:10 p.m. Officers were called to a two-car, noninjury crash at South Lincoln Avenue and Pine Grove Road.

6:42 p.m. A driver got stuck in snow trying to drive around a car crash scene in Oak Creek Canyon.

6:45 p.m. Officers helped a stuck driver at U.S. Highway 40 and Dream Island Plaza.

6:58 p.m. Officers and firefighters were called to a possible power line fire on Conestoga Circle. The line was sparking because of a blown fuse that caused a power outage in west Steamboat.

8:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated pedestrian in the first block of Anglers Drive. Officers sent the person home.

10:03 p.m. Deputies and West Routt Fire District emergency responders helped a driver at mile marker 112 of U.S. 40 near Hayden.

10:19 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious person at Chinook Lane and Walton Creek Road.

10:25 p.m. Deputies were called to a car crash on Rabbit Ears Pass. There were no injuries.

10:45 p.m. Officers were called to the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue, where they issued a dump truck driver a ticket for hitting a light pole. The driver hit another pole two blocks later.

11:17 p.m. Officers sent an extra foot patrol to downtown Steamboat Springs.
