Oil & Gas Symposium will be March 14 in Hayden
The Northwest Colorado Oil & Gas Symposium is from 5:30 to 9 p.m. March 14 in the Hayden High School auditorium. The symposium covers topics including oil and gas prices, fracking, wildlife and mineral leases. Speakers include attorney Ralph Cantafio, Routt County Planning Department Director Chad Phillips and John Lamb, of Steamboat Energy Consultants. A free community blood drive is Thursday at YVMC
A community blood drive is from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Yampa Valley Medical Center. Cody’s Challenge ski race and fundraiser is March 17
Cody’s Challenge, a Randonee ski race and fundraiser, is at 8:30 a.m. March 17 at Steamboat Ski Area. Participants should load the gondola from 7:45 to 8 a.m. The cost is $60 for the race or $100 for the race and a lift ticket. Proceeds go toward scholarships to assist ski patrollers with furthering their medical educations.
