■ 1 p.m. Saturday: Steamboat at Delta (16-3, 8-1)
Traditionally, the Western Slope League girls get four teams in the playoffs. Steamboat is fourth in the conference and still has a realistic shot at making the postseason. Steamboat will be favored Friday against Palisade but will be heavy underdogs against an athletic and uptempo Delta team. A 1-1 split won’t be the worst thing for Steamboat, but win at Delta on Saturday and the Sailors’ playoff chances greatly improve.
