1:33 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers arrested a 23-year-old Steamboat woman in an alley near the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of second degree assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest and obstruction of a peace officer. Police said they found the woman, who they suspected to be intoxicated, wandering around, yelling and screaming. The woman was uncooperative when contacted, and police said she punched and kicked one of the arresting officers.
1:54 a.m. Officers found a man smoking marijuana near some dumpsters in an alley in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
2:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a domestic disturbance in Steamboat. Officers later arrested a 46-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of obstructing a telephone service.
8:14 a.m. Officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane. Everything was OK.
8:30 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a credit card found in the 1400 block of 13th Street.
8:37 a.m. Officers were called to a panic alarm in the 1100 block of 13th Street. Everything was OK.
9:08 a.m. Officers were called to a report of vandalism in the 1400 block of 13th Street. Police issued a 22-year-old man a citation for criminal mischief after officers investigated a report that the man punched and damaged a Steamboat Springs Transit bus window at about 2:30 a.m. Police said the man was riding the bus when he got in an argument with other riders that resulted in him punching the window.
11:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft of a bicycle in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
4:42 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of animal bites on Routt County Road 38.
9:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Howelsen Parkway. Everything was OK.
