The Record for Feb. 3

2:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fight in progress at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. The fight had broken up when officers arrived.

5:10 a.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint on Pine Grove Circle.

6:42 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Colorado State Patrol troopers and Oak Creek Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a car that went off the road on Routt County Road 14 near Stagecoach Lake State Park. The driver had driven off the road the night before and left the car there.

9:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a shuttle bus hitting a parked truck in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. There was minor damage and no injuries.

10:42 a.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to an ambulance request.

1:30 p.m. Officers and Advocates Building Peaceful Communities were called to a domestic disturbance that turned out to be a dispute about custody of a dog. The dog ended up staying with the female party, where it previously had lived.

2:52 p.m. Officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to an ambulance request for a male in his 20s having a seizure.

3:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two people arguing about a parking spot in the 200 block of Park Avenue.

3:24 p.m. Officers were called to investigate someone who was denied a firearms purchase.

4:21 p.m. Officers pulled over a 27-year-old Milner man on River Road and arrested him on a warrant for failure to appear.

5:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of hay in the middle of the road at Mount Werner Road and U.S. Highway 40. Officers moved the hay off the road.

9:31 p.m. Officers sent extra foot patrol to downtown Steamboat Springs to keep an eye on downtown bars.

10:21 p.m. Officers and deputies were called to help Colorado State Patrol with a roadside sobriety test.

10:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of dogs barking in the 2900 block of Alpenglow Way. When officers arrived, the dogs’ owner let the animals out, and they ran at the officers. Officer issued a ticket for the dogs barking.
