Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Springs High School hockey team’s game scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday against Columbine was postponed because of inclement weather on the Front Range.
The game will be made up at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Howelsen Ice Arena.
Tuesday’s game also will serve as senior night for Jace Worden, John Wharton and Lance Ostrom.
As of Friday morning, Steamboat Springs Athletic Director Luke DeWolfe said the Sailors’ game at 3 p.m. Saturday against Dakota Ridge still was on at Howelsen Ice Arena.
Dakota Ridge High School postponed its Friday games.
“I’m hoping we can play it,” DeWolfe said. “The problem is if we have to postpone it, we’re running out of season” to reschedule it.
