Carter Allen cuts around a giant slalom gate Sunday during a Town Challenge event at Steamboat Ski Area. The race in Bashor Bowl drew about three dozens racers of all experience levels to a course that included giant slalom and slalom gates. It came as little surprise that David Lamb, one of Steamboat’s most avid and accomplished skiers, raced the fastest time. He ran the course in 32.72 seconds. Kevin Hendrickson was second in 33.8 seconds, and Allen was third in 34.45.
