Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of debris in the road at 12th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

8:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who saw a male push a female into a snowbank at Ninth and Pine streets. They could not be found.

11:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a 61-year-old man having a possible heart attack in the 2700 block of Village Drive. The man died.

12:10 p.m. Yampa Valley Regional Airport firefighters were called to help a person who fell at the airport.

1:01 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be found.

6:32 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a fire in the 300 block of Little Moon Trail. People using sparklers inside a townhome caught a Christmas tree on fire. A hose was used to put the fire out. The heat from the fire caused some windows to crack and melted a ceiling fan and TV.

6:40 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a possible gas leak in the 2500 block of Daybreak Court. It was not a gas leak. An oven was being cleaned and mitts in an oven drawer caught fire and filled the residence with smoke.

7:54 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an elderly woman who fell in the 2600 block of Anthony’s Circle.

People using sparklers inside a townhome caught a Christmas tree on fire.

Who are these people that didn't know that when inside using sparklers to stay away from the Christmas tree?

With any luck this was recorded and will be posted on youtube.
