Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an assault at a campground in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man accused another man of smoking in the building, and a fight broke out. A 60-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.

8:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of elk at Sixth and Pine streets.

8:04 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 11000 block of Routt County Road 51A.

8:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver's license lost at Steamboat Ski Area.

9:46 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 700 block of Oak Street. A person was shoveling snow and saw blood on the sidewalk.

9:46 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash near mile marker 105 on U.S. Highway 40.

9:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

11:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of skis that had been stolen on a previous day at Steamboat Ski Area.

11:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who said she was walking her dog and someone yelled at her in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

11:28 a.m. Deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 30300 block of C.R. 16.

11:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to pick up an injured skier at Steamboat Ski Area.

11:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was selling a generator for a suspiciously low price in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:12 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with stomach pain in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

2:15 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of trespassing in the 25800 block of Connor Court near Clark.

3:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that went off the road near mile marker 6 on C.R. 129. No one was injured.

3:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of elk at Seventh and Aspen streets.

4:25 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help someone having a seizure in the 1800 block of Ranch Road.

5:21 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a fire in a hotel room in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. A juvenile falsely had reported the fire, and officers handled the situation.

5:34 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help stranded snowmobilers in Jackson County on Rabbit Ears Pass. They were found the next morning and were fine.

5:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of elk at Seventh and Pine streets.

5:58 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an accident near C.R. 14 and C.R. 14D. Steamboat firefighters evaluated a mother and daughter, who were not injured.

6:05 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

6:17 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident near mile marker 105 on U.S. Highway 40.

6:34 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a chimney on fire in the 300 block of Main Street. It was not on fire.
