Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:47 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.
2:02 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash at U.S. Highway 40 and Routt County Road 27 near Hayden. Numerous other noninjury accidents were reported during the day, and no serious injuries were reported.
2:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers investigated yelling that was heard in the area of Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A drunken man was contacted, and everything was fine.
7:46 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell at Gondola Transit Center.
10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors arguing in the 800 block of Weiss Drive.
10:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 3300 block of Après Ski Way. It involved an ongoing dispute about the plowing of adjoining driveways.
10:47 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of an unattended death in the 7000 block of C.R. 74 near Hayden. A 74-year-old man had died of natural causes.
1:52 p.m. Yampa Valley Regional Airport firefighters were called to help a person who fell at the airport.
2:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found at a business in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. It was returned to its owner.
4:50 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive.
5:35 p.m. Officers were called to check on suspicious activity at a residence on Sparta Plaza. Everything was fine.
6:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1900 block of Bridge Lane. While a car was warming up, someone stole a $1,500 computer from the car.
