— The Hayden Town Council meets Thursday and will consider approving 3 percent raises for town employees. Town Manager David Torgler wrote that wage increases have not occurred during the past few years and that the 2013 budget includes funding for the increases.

The council will convene at 7 p.m. at Hayden Town Hall for staff and council member reports. The regular meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.

Among the items being discussed, the council will consider appointing Wendy Lind to the Economic Development Commission. Stefanus Nijsten and Rodney McGowen have stepped down from the commission in recent months.

The council also will consider canceling its Jan. 3 meeting because of the holidays and rescheduling the Feb. 7 meeting to Feb. 6 because Hayden High School will be hosting its only home wresting match Feb. 7.
