Steamboat Winter Sports Club snowboarder lands podium spot

Australia’s Belle Brockhoff, riding for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, earned her country’s first World Cup podium Saturday, scoring a third-place finish in a snowboard cross event in Austria.
Brockhoff was first in her quarterfinals heat and second in her semifinals heat. She then was third in the four-racer finals, earning her first World Cup podium event. The races were in Montafon, Austria.
