Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted the driver of a suspicious car in the 700 block of Lithia Springs Road. A person younger than 21 was given a ticket for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
8:10 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 1900 block of Bridge Lane.
9:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak in the 1300 block of Eagle Glen Drive.
12:16 p.m. Officers spoke to a woman in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue who was having issues with her daughter.
1:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that passed in a no-passing zone near Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be found.
3:05 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who was bitten by a dog in the 28200 block of Yellow Jacket Drive.
4:55 p.m. Officers contacted a 70-year-old woman who was involved in a car crash at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street. She was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with chest pain.
4:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of smoke in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. It could not be found.
6:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.
9:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
11:05 p.m. 11:05 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a drunken man who cut his finger while cutting limes at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. He later was taken to detox.
