Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:17 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers tried to contact three suspicious young men in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. They ran away, and police were able to contact one of them. The 18-year-old man was arrested the next night on suspicion of two counts of criminal mischief related to graffiti.
8:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti in the 800 block of Weiss Drive.
10:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two solar panels missing from a trailer that had been parked at a business in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
2:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti in the tunnel underneath U.S. Highway 40 at Walton Creek Road.
2:12 p.m. Oak Creek and Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 25700 block of Forest Street in Phippsburg.
2:27 p.m. A person came to the Routt County Sheriff’s Office and reported a suspicious incident.
4 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 32600 block of Routt County Road 35.
4:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of construction tools missing from the 2500 block of Ski Trail Lane.
5:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft from the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.
5:49 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who possibly overdosed in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road.
8:47 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a rollover crash in the 39500 block of C.R. 44. Minor injuries were reported.
11:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight in the 500 block of Parkview Drive. Police said a former tenant came to a residence and broke in to get his dog. A fight then broke out. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear in court and first-degree criminal trespassing.
