Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people arguing in the 2600 block of Longthong Road.
8:12 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a trash truck on fire in the first block of Seventh Street. The fire, thought to have been caused by engine trouble, was extinguished.
8:32 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with possible alcohol poisoning in the 300 block of Pearl Street.
9:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Walton Creek and Whistler roads.
2 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that had been broken into in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
2:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vandalized bathroom in the 2400 block of Downhill Drive.
2:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:50 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 39900 block of Routt County Road 80 near Hayden.
3:53 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a fisherman having an unknown medical problem at Steamboat Lake.
4:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Two boys reported that a man was following them. The boys got away from the man, and officers were following up on the incident.
4:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle complaint in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
4:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who said his roommate had assaulted him in the 300 block of Old Fish Creek Falls Road. Officers arrested the 21-year-old man on suspicion of first-degree assault. He also had a warrant for his arrest on suspicion of first-degree burglary.
5:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard what he or she thought were fireworks in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.
7:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The car was found, and a 52-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
11 p.m. Officers contacted a drunken man who fell and hit his face at Yampa and Sixth streets. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
11 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a woman who was having an unknown medical problem in the 2600 block of Longthong Road. The 60-year-old woman was fine, and officers arrested her on suspicion of first-degree criminal tampering related to calling 911 for no reason.
