Doug Lewis wins Steamboat Golf Club's men's tournament


— Doug Lewis emerged with the bragging rights from Steamboat Golf Club's Men’s Club Championship on Saturday. Lewis carded a two-day combined score of 148 to win the tournament. John Marshall was second with 155 strokes, and Seann Conway and Bill Powers tied for third with 158 strokes each.

Wayne Rickaby was the top golfer when handicaps were factored in, finishing with a score of 134. Wayne Garrison was second with 135, and Chris Curran and Jeff Nelson tied for third at 138.

The Steamboat Women's Golf Association Championship also was decided during the weekend at Steamboat Golf Club.
