Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:17 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 47100 block of Routt County Road 80A near Hayden.

8:49 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a raft and trailer parked illegally in a parking garage in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

10:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a student at Colorado Mountain College who had marijuana. The student was given a citation.

10:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a $1,500 laptop stolen from the 700 block of Tamarack Drive.

11:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of workplace harassment in the 3300 block of Downhill Drive.

1:02 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having an allergic reaction in the 300 block of East Main Street.

3:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person driving without a valid driver's license in Phippsburg

3:59 p.m. Deputies and North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a man with an injured hand on Owl Drive near Clark. The 21-year-old man was taking apart a shotgun shell, and the shell went off. He lost parts of three fingers and was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with injuries not thought to be life threatening. He then was flown to another hospital.

4:18 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers and North Routt firefighters were called to help a man who fell off a horse at a guest ranch in the 29800 block of C.R. 64. The man got back to the ranch on his own and drove himself to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

4:25 p.m. A found piece of construction equipment was turned in at the police station.

5:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was given a ride home.

6:11 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a driver passing unsafely near mile marker four on C.R. 129.

6:38 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of identity theft in the 100 block of West Virginia Street in Oak Creek.

6:55 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who had fainted in the 300 block of Honeysuckle Drive.

6:58 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a depressed person in the 800 block of Anglers Court.

7:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that had gotten into a person’s house in the 2300 block of Val D’Isere Circle. The bear was scared away.

7:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of drunken people at Rotary Park. A drunken man was passed out and taken to detox. The man’s roommate, a 44-year-old Steamboat man, was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order, which forbid him from drinking.

8:10 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a 16-year-old boy who hit his head at a gymnasium in the 1900 block of Bridge Lane.

9:08 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a 38-year-old woman with a leg injury in the 2200 block of Après Ski Way.
