Craig A lot has been said in the local community forums since the Sleeping Giant Group first announced its proposal to build a casino near Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden.
Some of the comments have been positive, others not so much.
But it’s not the chatter one way or the other that has Steve Hofman a little concerned.
Hofman, a Steamboat Springs resident and one of six partners of the Sleeping Giant Group, said Tuesday that a thorough community discussion about the proposed casino was one of the partnership’s goals from the beginning.
He had not, however, properly prepared himself for the amount of inaccurate information currently working through the Yampa Valley.
