Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man and woman arguing at Fifth and Yampa streets.

12:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear on Walton Creek Road.

1:08 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 100 block of West Virginia Street in Oak Creek.

1:25 a.m. Officers arrested a 44-year-old Steamboat man in the first block of Jack Pine Court on suspicion of theft, two counts of violation of a protection order and harassment.

4:28 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a death in the 300 block of Myers Street in Oak Creek. An 88-year-old died of natural causes.

8:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that had been damaged at Yampa Valley Medical Center. Officers were able to look at surveillance video, which showed a female driver hit the car before going to the emergency room for treatment. The woman also reportedly was using the car without permission. The 32-year-old Steamboat woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, aggravated motor vehicle theft, careless driving, leaving an accident involving damage, hitting an unattended vehicle and failing to notify police.

8:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti at Howelsen Skate Park.

8:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of people camping by the Yampa River near Walton Pond Circle. No campers were found, but officers found seven marijuana plants being grown. The incident is under investigation.

8:48 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of harassment in the 200 block of Wild Hogg Drive in Oak Creek.

8:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 500 block of Tamarack Drive.

9:11 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of vandalism at Decker Park in Oak Creek.

9:44 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 600 block of Pine Street.

12:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car accident in the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Circle. One person had minor injuries but did not want to go to a hospital.

12:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a debit card stolen in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

1:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a former employee and boss arguing at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

2:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the first block of Anglers Drive.

2:16 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the first block of Anglers Drive.

4:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a mountain bike taken from Bud Werner Memorial Library.

8 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the first block of East Logan Avenue who received a fraudulent phone call about having his wages garnished.

8:48 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem at Steamboat Lake.

8:54 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of trespassing in the 24300 block of Routt County Road 11 near Yampa.

10:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of marijuana use at Colorado Mountain College. A person was given a summons for possession of marijuana.
