Routt County Sheriff's Office tight-lipped about Rabbit Ears incident

Steamboat Springs — The Routt County Sheriff’s Office and Routt County Search and Rescue was dispatched to a possible search on Rabbit Ears Pass on Monday afternoon, but officials were tight-lipped late Monday night about the mission.
Routt County Undersheriff Ray Birch would provide no details about the operation. He said information likely would be available Tuesday morning. Search and Rescue incident commanders referred all inquiries to Birch.
