12:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about people playing loud music while chopping wood on Spruce Street.

1:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Police took a drunken man to detox.

8:01 a.m. Officers and Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of gunshots in the 200 block of Spruce Street. They were not able to find the source of the noise.

10:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident downtown. A woman called police and told them she took her car to the mechanic after it was driving funny, and the mechanic told her it likely had loose lug nuts. Police said the woman wanted to let police know “in case it happened to anyone else.”

12:15 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an attempted suicide in Steamboat.

1:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone stealing a bike from the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:12 p.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear at Eighth Street and Crawford Avenue.

2:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

3:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two bikes that crashed on the Yampa River Core Trail. The people involved in the crash were gone before officers arrived.

6:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 700 block of Yampa Street. A woman said she returned home and found her front door was ajar. Police walked through the home and determined everything was OK.

7:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in Dream Island.

7:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A person was taken to detox.

8:02 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a noise in the 1800 block of River Queen Lane. It was quiet when officers arrived.

10:03 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about the rodeo being too loud in the 400 block of Howelsen Parkway.

10:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Walton Creek Road and Village Drive. Officers were unable to locate the person.

10:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an attempted suicide in Steamboat.
