Steamboat Springs Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious group of juveniles in the 400 block of Storm Mountain Court.
3 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a rollover accident near mile marker 102 on U.S. Highway 40. No one was injured.
7:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had died of natural causes in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle.
8:10 a.m. Deputies were called to investigate a report of smoke in the Burgess Creek area. Nothing was on fire.
9:11 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a possible rental scam in the 32400 block of Highlands Road near Steamboat.
9:12 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of an illegal burn in the 30100 block of Elk Lane.
10:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza.
11:55 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person burning trash in Milner.
11:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bicyclist that ran a red light at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The bicyclist could not be found.
12:22 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive.
1:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car crash at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. A citation was issued to a driver for failing to yield while turning.
2:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of vandalism at Yampa and Seventh streets.
3:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 1300 block of Indian Trails. Stolen items included prescription drugs and marijuana plants. A 29-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance and theft.
3:52 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash at the Routt County Justice Center.
4:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The car was found, but the driver was not there.
5:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a rock thrown through a window in the 3300 block of Covey Circle.
5:32 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of harassment in the 31600 block of Navajo Trail near Oak Creek.
6:28 p.m. Deputies arrested a 47-year-old Oak Creek man on suspicion of harassment, third-degree assault and violation of protection order.
6:42 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident at Routt County Roads 43 and 45.
6:45 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious person near mile marker 140 on U.S. Highway 40.
7:06 p.m. Firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
7:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a reckless driver at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be found.
7:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music coming from a car at Howelsen Hill. A warning was issued.
8:06 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an illegal burn near mile marker two on Forest Service Road 302.
8:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man in the 700 block of Pine Street. The man was taken to detox.
8:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person having an illegal recreational fire at Valverdant Circle and Fish Creek Falls Road. The fire was put out.
10:57 p.m. Deputies stopped a car for speeding near mile marker 143 on U.S. 40 and arrested a 36-year-old Castle Rock man on suspicion of driving with a revoked license.
11:41 p.m. Officers stopped a car for speeding in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue and arrested a 42-year-old California man on suspicion of DUI.
