Preregister through June 1 for $100 per team of four or $75 per family team of four, consisting of at least one adult and children younger than 16. Registration from June 2 to 9 increases by $20. Teams can vie for prizes, including one for best costume.
Proceeds benefit Grand Futures Prevention Coalition’s work toward preventing substance use in youths. More information, sponsorship forms and online registration are available at www.grandfutures.org or by calling Kate at 970-879-6188.
Discoloration of water may result from hydrant flushing
The city of Steamboat Springs will be flushing fire hydrants during April. This may cause a slight discoloration in your water. The water is safe, and the discoloration will disappear if you run your water for a short time.
If discoloration does not clear up or if you have other concerns, call 970-871-6303 or 970-871-8209.
