Steamboat briefs: Anthony Sisto named Cadet of Quarter at local ceremony

Cadet Anthony Sisto was named the Cadet of the Quarter at a local Civil Air Patrol ceremony Tuesday night at Steamboat Springs Airport, according to a news release. The award was presented by Cadet 2nd Lt. Noah Gibbs.
Six cadets also were promoted at the ceremony. Cadets Wilder Gray and Andrea Houston were promoted to cadet airman, Cadet Sisto was promoted to cadet senior airman, Cadet Garrett Pohlman was promoted to cadet master sergeant, Cadet Aidan Gibbs was promoted to cadet chief master sergeant and Cadet Joshua Heald was promoted to cadet technical sergeant, according to the release.
CNCC seeks comments for accreditation review process
As part of an accreditation review process, Colorado Northwestern Community College is seeking comments about the institution, according to a news release. Comments are forwarded to accreditation evaluation team members so they can be included in the review. Comments should be submitted at www.ncahlc.org/Information-for-the-Public/third-party-comment.html.
