12:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a drunken man who had been cut off at a bar and was being belligerent in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The 20-year-old was taken to detox and cited for underage consumption of alcohol.

1:34 a.m. Deputies were called to help locate an elk that had been hit by a car near mile marker 111 on U.S. Highway 40.

2:02 a.m. Officers contacted a drunken man at the 13th Street Bridge and took him to detox.

8:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a large black dog that ran out of a driveway in the 300 block of Parkview Drive and bit another dog. The dog’s owner was cited.

9:13 a.m. A gold Rolex watch was turned in to police. The watch had been in the lost and found for the past four months at a business in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A man was suspected of taking a couple of Bud Light beers and was cited.

3:47 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 200 block of South Sharp Street in Oak Creek. A woman was upset because a car was being towed that belonged to her deceased father.

4:24 p.m. Deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person in Hayden. A drunken woman who was passed out with a 5-month-old baby in the house was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center. Department of Human Services officials were contacted.

5:31 p.m. A driver’s license that was found in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue was turned in to police officers.

5:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

5:48 p.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 152 on U.S. Highway 40. The people involved in the accident refused medical treatment.

8:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of kids riding motorized vehicles on a bike path near Dream Island Plaza. Officers were unable to locate the kids.

11:03 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help with a person having difficulty breathing in the 21500 block of Fourth Avenue in Phippsburg.
