Sam Haslem: In poor taste

I think your political cartoons printed in the April 3 and 4 issues of the Steamboat Today were in very poor taste when they depicted former Gov. Mitt Romney in such a poor light.

I grew up in Utah as a member of a Congregational family and have been a 39-year active member of the Hayden Congregational Church, so I’m not writing this as a Mormon. I have subscribed to the Vernal Express from Vernal, Utah, for more than 50 years. I periodically see the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News, Salt Lake City’s major newspapers. I have never seen anything published in any of those papers that was in as poor taste as what I saw in those two editions of the Steamboat Today.

In 1620, Pilgrims left England to flee religious persecution. We don’t need persecution here in Northwest Colorado.

Sam, You ain't seen nothin yet, the end justifies the means, and with no accomplishments to flaunt the left will let no leaf unturned in their quest to dominate. The media will certainly pull it's weight.

PS Why was Mallard demoted to the funnies? Answer, I suspect too many complaints by the habitually offended.
