2:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of two to three males doing cocaine in the 700 block of Oak Street. Officers were unable to contact the men.
8:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding in front of a school in the 500 block of Laurel Lane. The driver was contacted and given a warning.
9:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person sleeping in the bushes by a church in the 600 block of Oak Street. When officers arrived, the transient man was rolling up his sleeping bag and was leaving town.
10:41 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a wallet found in a parking lot in the 39600 block of Amethyst Drive. It was returned to its owner.
11:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two people selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door in the 800 block of Douglas Street. Tickets were given for not having a sales tax license.
12:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a magazine salesperson who called a homeowner a racist because the homeowner would not buy a subscription in the 600 block of Evans Drive.
12:59 p.m. Officers stopped a car at Gilpin and 13th streets and gave a traffic ticket. The occupants of the car were suspected of selling magazine subscriptions and were advised to leave town.
1:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury accident in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.
2:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of car that had been keyed the previous night in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive.
6:24 p.m. Officers were called to help Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters with an intoxicated person in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. The person was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center and then detox.
6:29 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious all-terrain vehicle driving in the 23800 block of Routt County Road 16. The vehicle could not be located.
7:44 p.m. Officers were called to help firefighters with a person who was suicidal in Steamboat. The person was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
8:13 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car on Moffat Avenue in Oak Creek. The person was advised to walk home.
8:24 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 2700 block of Cross Timbers Trail. The person could not be found.
9:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat. A 53-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, obstruction of telephone service and criminal mischief.
