12:26 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. A 23-year-old Steamboat woman was arrested for failing to appear in court.

12:28 a.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint on Mountain Village Circle. A ticket was issued to a minor for possessing alcohol.

2:05 a.m. Officers stopped a car for weaving at Logan Avenue and arrested a 37-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving under suspension.

7:48 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of cattle along Routt County Road 14 in Stagecoach. They were put back in their pasture.

8:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of prescription fraud in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. An employee said a medical technician was calling in prescriptions for family members and then picking them up. The incident is being investigated.

1:21 p.m. Deputies were called to help West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters with a report of a dump truck on fire on California Park Road in western Routt County. The brakes on the truck got hot and burned the back tires off the truck. No one was injured, but the truck suffered extensive damage.

4:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver on Falling Water Lane. A man reportedly was working on a car while drinking beer and then drove away. The man then returned and was driving an all-terrain vehicle at his home. Officers contacted the man, and everything was fine.

4:29 p.m. Firefighters were called to a report of a car that drove off U.S. Highway 40 about one mile east of Hayden. A bee had gotten into a woman’s car, and she drove off the road while trying to fight the bee. The woman was not hurt, and the car was not severely damaged except for flat tires.

6:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was drunk and unable to walk at Fourth and Oak streets. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center and then detox.

6:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was highly intoxicated in the 700 block of Oak Street. Officers contacted the 44-year-old woman, who told officers she had been dropped off downtown and she was supposed to meet a man who was at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

8:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a found cellphone and sweater at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

10:09 p.m. Officers helped Colorado State Patrol with roadside tests on U.S. 40. An 18-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

Too juicy. I am not even going to comment on the plethora of alcohol events, since pot is such a greater threat and sham upon our community, other than to say Thank You, Drunks, for helping support a vital segment of our slumping economy!!

7:48 a.m. -- The cows were given a courtesy walk home.

8:32 a.m. -- Hey, if a Doctor says it's good, it must be!! Give the kid a break.

4:29 p.m. -- Bees!! Honest, Officer!! I thought they were going to eat me.

How 'bout we make it illegal to harbor bees? Look at the threat THEY pose!!

(tip: Just roll the window down a bit and settle down; they won't bother you if you don't bother them. They'd rather be somewhere else too.)
