1:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of dogs barking at something in the 1400 block of Steamboat Boulevard. There was a bear in the area.
3:56 a.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters with an alarm in the 1800 block of Hunters Court.
10:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that made an illegal U-turn at Pine Grove Road and Central Park Drive. The driver was contacted and given a warning.
11:07 a.m. Officers were called to a marital dispute in the 400 block of Anglers Drive.
11:19 a.m. Officers were called to help firefighters with a two-car, noninjury accident at Hilltop Parkway and U.S. Highway 40. A citation was issued.
12:02 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a dog loose in the 29100 block of C.R. 34. It was taken to the shelter.
2:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.
4:02 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of cows outside of their pasture in Deerwood Estates in Steamboat.
5:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury accident at U.S. 40 and C.R. 129.
5:49 p.m. Deputies were called to help firefighters with a 22-year-old man who needed to go to Yampa Valley Medical Center after falling off a stepstool in Heritage Park.
7:16 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car in Steamboat. It was gone when deputies arrived.
10:19 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of multiple people walking around with flashlights at the Oak Creek Cemetery.
10:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated man passed out at the bus stop on Central Park Drive. He was taken to detox.
11:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two people who damaged a bathroom in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. They were contacted and given a trespass notice.

Best column in the paper, because you can't make this stuff up. Can't resist:
10:16 a.m. -- Nobody likes a rat.
7:16 p.m. -- Was the car asking the wrong questions?
10:19 p.m. -- So what? Is that illegal? What'd be really scary is if they DIDN'T have flashlights.
