Steamboat Springs — The Steamboat Springs High School tennis team rolled on Saturday, beating Fossil Ridge, 5-2.
Steamboat got wins at No. 1 singles from Jamey Swiggart, No. 2 singles from Luke Farny and No. 3 singles from Colin Green.
The No. 1 doubles team of Gabri Erspamer and Erik Sortland and the No. 2 doubles team of Stefan Sortland and Kyle Rogers also picked up wins.
“From No. 1 singles to No. 4 doubles, I thought it was our best performance as a team,” Steamboat coach John Aragon said. “That, and we were playing solid competition. I was pleased to see them play at this level.”
Steamboat, now 7-2, next plays Thursday at Colorado Academy.
