Steamboat Springs 12:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a noise complaint in the 1300 block of Athens Plaza.
6:30 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car that hit an elk near Routt County Road 44 and U.S. Highway 40. No one was hurt, but the car was not drivable.
8:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen wallet at Steamboat Springs High School.
9:42 a.m. A wallet was found and turned in at the police station.
1:15 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a semitrailer that had used the runaway truck ramp on Rabbit Ears Pass. No one was injured.
1:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive who had their credit card fraudulently used online.
1:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of car tailgating on ElK River Road. The driver was contacted and warned.
3:14 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of cows on U.S. 40 near mile marker 155. They were gone when deputies arrived.
3:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a found wallet in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
5:09 p.m. A found credit card was turned in at the police station.
5:35 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car swerving near U.S. 40 and Colorado Highway 131. The car drove into the ditch, and the driver was suspected of having a medical issue.
6:26 p.m. Deputies helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with a report of a 70-year-old man who possibly broke his ankle while hiking.
8:09 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that went off the road to avoid a deer near C.R. 14 and Colo. 131. No one was injured.
8:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of loud music in the 44400 block of C.R. 44. A warning was given.
10:54 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a female who was acting strange at Colorado Mountain College. She was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
