12:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with a student at Colorado Mountain College who was highly intoxicated. The student was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center and issued a summons for underage consumption of alcohol.

12:47 a.m. Officers found a car that had driven off the road at Bob Adams Drive and 12th Street. No one was hurt.

2:11 a.m. Officers contacted an extremely intoxicated man in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police warned the man to stay on the sidewalk.

2:30 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man who was cut off during a phone conversation with his mom. He was fine.

7:48 a.m. Officers were called to help emergency responders with a report of a car on fire at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street. The car was heavily damaged, but no one was injured.

10:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit a skateboarder Friday in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The skateboarder suffered minor injuries.

12:04 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a cow on the railroad tracks near mile marker 124 on U.S. Highway 40. It was gone when deputies arrived.

12:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen in the first block of Park Avenue.

12:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of four cows on 13th Street. The owner was contacted and the cows were put back in their pasture.

2:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man wandering around a parking lot in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man was reported as a missing person, and he was put on a bus to Denver to meet his dad.

2:39 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car stolen from the 31400 block of Routt County Road 64 in Clark. The report was unfounded.

3:04 p.m. Emergency responders were called to a report of a propane leak in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man passed out at the gazebos in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was taken to the hospital.

4:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a found wallet in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza.

6:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-vehicle, noninjury crash in the 200 block of Park Avenue.

Great. "Yeah, you there, drunkie! You just make sure to stay up that sidewalk now, ya hear?"

But even though he was "extremely intoxicated" I guess he was plenty sober enough to stay out of detox, huh?
