PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with the Tax Payers Bill of Rights (TABOR) amendment, the Steamboat Springs City Clerk is accepting written pro/con statements regarding the TABOR issue, which will appear on the Municipal Section of, the November 1, 2011 Coordinated Election ballot. A copy of this ballot issue is available at City Hall, or can be found on the City's website at www.steamboatsprings.net

All written comments meeting the following requirements*, will be summarized as part of the TABOR election notice:

1) Comments must be filed by an eligible elector of the jurisdiction submitting the ballot issue;

2) Comments must identify and address the specific ballot issue;

3) The written document must include a signature (can be an electronic signature) and an address (residence) where the signer is registered to vote; and

4) The written document must be filed with the designated election official (City Clerk).

No later than Monday, September 19, 2011 at 5:30 p.m., all submissions regarding the City of Steamboat Springs' ballot issues are to be directed to:
