— No surprises here.

Steamboat Springs names dominated the U.S. Nordic Combined Ski Team roster announced Monday.

Steamboat’s Johnny Spillane, Todd Lodwick and Bryan Fletcher were named to the A Team along with Billy Demong.

“The team is good. Everyone’s healthy, and we have a good mix of the big guys and new guys coming in,” Nordic combined coach Dave Jarrett said in a U.S. Ski Team news release. “We’re looking for success on the World Cup and the Continental Cup this year.”

Fletcher will be looking to build on a successful 2011, when he was the top American on the World Ranking list in his first full season on the World Cup circuit.

“Bryan certainly is representative of our system because he’s been in it a long time,” Jarrett said. “Every season, he’s made steps to achieving more and more. He’s taken another step and closed the gap between the top guys. We have high hopes for him.”

The B Team will be made up of Steamboat’s Brett Denney and Taylor Fletcher as well as Park City, Utah’s Nick Hendrickson.

The Nordic combined team begins the FIS World Cup season Nov. 25 in Kuusamo, Finland.

This is why the city "subsidizes" Howelsen Hill.

Congrats to the SSWSC Nordic Combined program
