Steamboat briefs: Bud Werner Memorial Library waives overdue fines for teens Saturday

As part of Teen Read Week, Bud Werner Memorial Library will waive overdue fines for teens ages 13 to 18 who visit the library Saturday. Teen Read Week is an annual event sponsored by the American Library Association. Drop in at the library and see which books were voted the 2011 Teen Top Ten. Victim advocates sought for domestic violence program
Advocates Building Peaceful Communities is recruiting counters interested in becoming victim advocates. Advocates will host a 25-hour domestic violence training starting in mid-November. Call Diane at 970-879-2034 for more information.
