1:30 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of road debris at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

6:22 a.m. Police were called to the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza to a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle who a business owner thought was stealing wireless Internet. The person actually was reading a newspaper.

8:21 a.m. Police were called to a report of animal bites at River Road at Spar Street. Animal control officers handled the call.

9:37 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a theft in Phippsburg. The call was unfounded.

9:39 a.m. Colorado State Patrol troopers, police and deputies were called to a report of a hit-and-run car crash at 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue. The suspect was contacted, but officers could not confirm from the damage that the car was involved.

10:16 a.m. Deputies helped a driver at U.S. Highway 40 and Riverside Drive.

11:03 a.m. Deputies were called to check on someone in the 900 block of Pahwintah Street.

12:57 p.m. Police were called to a neighbor dispute in the 900 block of Falling Water Lane.

1:15 p.m. Police arrested a 30-year-old Denver woman on suspicion of being a fugitive of justice (obtaining prescription drugs), driving under restraint and fraud and deceit in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:52 p.m. Police were called to a report of a gas skip in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The report was unfounded.

4:27 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a postal mail fraud in the 21000 block of U.S. 40 in Milner. A person had received a notice to pay money to pick up a package that he hadn’t been expecting.

4:48 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a fire alarm in the first block of Park Place.

5:35 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to check on someone in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza. A woman was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

6:31 p.m. Police and Advocates Building Peaceful Communities were called to a report of a disturbance.

7:14 p.m. Police noticed someone violating a protective order at 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers took a report.

7:32 p.m. Police were called to a report of threats in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Officers issued a verbal warning.

8 p.m. Someone reported losing a wallet at a bus stop at Whistler Village.

9:24 p.m. Police were called to check on someone in the 2000 block of Ski Time Square Drive, where someone was taken to detox.

9:39 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of loud music in the 21000 block of U.S. 40 in Milner. Deputies warned the person to turn it down.

10:27 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear on Pine Grove Road.

10:55 p.m. Police were called to a report of drugs in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. Officers issued four minor in possession of alcohol citations and one possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana citation.
